Default un decided

hi, in my last thread i was asking if a super charge would fit under my 2'' hood but i was also thinking about a 396 big block and was wanting to know what i will have to do to make it fit?

If you need to ask what to do to make it fit then that type of swap is not for you. Seriously.

i was just wantin to know so i knew what i was getting into before i decided to put the big block in it

why not start with the basics and this needs to be thought of just like wanting to build a house

how much money do you honestly have?

so far you have asked about forced induction and now about a big block. WHy have you settled on a 396 which is quite an old engine? Do you have one or have you simply heard about the 396 from the muscle car days?

what do you have right now? what do you want to accomplish from the project (please don't say more power)? Do you have a 1/4 mile time that you want to hit? Will this be a pure strip car or pure street? Do you want it to have good drivability? Do you want mpg greater than 15 mpg?
