Default Ultimate TBI

Well I got my hands on an old TBI Unit that I'm tearing apart and modifying/rebuilding with this little guide http://www.thirdgen.org/ultimatetbi2 Then I noticed that the injectors are kinda worn looking. So I head to to Checkers (now AKA Oreilly Auto Parts)For a set of new Niehoff Injectors, $115 a pop of new base line injectors and thats all they had. (Reman. ones where well over $300! Does that make sense!?)

So heres the question, does anyone know where I can get new good injectors? Like performance ones? Or at the lest cheaper ones that are good. NO shtebay. Hmm, These arnt rebuildable are they?

Hmm Is there something I need to know about putting the injectors in or do they just universally fit?

The TBI on my 350 is modified.. When the car is running you can hear lots of air sucking into the TBI through the cowl hood! It sounds like there is a blower on the car.lol

Were you going for the larger bore? If the TBI was off a 350 truck you could use the injectors. Should give you more fuel when you stomp on it.

Ya This guy sold me his entire TBI system from his K2500 350 the he screwed up the ECU and stuff like that but the TBI was in good but very dirt shape, its fun grinding away at the metal but I guess I'll just use it as a test and to milk some more HP from my truck.

hmm... Are the injector pods the same?
