Default Traded my 82 Camaro for a 87

I traded my 82 Camaro yesterday for this 87 Camaro. Small block 350 bored .60 over. Weiand 144 Prostreet Blower, JE pistons, Chrome Molly rings, Scat Rods and Crank, Crane Cam, Flowmaster exhaust and a TCI 700R. We traded even. I think I did pretty good, just needs some minor work and a paint job. Thanks, Josh

Damn. I...am...jealous. Personally though, I would have kept the '82. '82 Camaros were the lightest Camaro since the first Gens.

Wow, what was your 82 worth? That's at least a $5k engine, if you built it yourself. Plus the value of the TCI trans! Is the car drivable at all?
Sure hope there's nothing wrong with the thing, for some reason the other guy didn't mind taking a huge loss in the trade.

I wanted $3500 for my 82 even though I only had $1700 in it. A young kid had the 87 and his mom wouldn't let him have it after he brought it home. He didn't even get the chance to put a tag on it. It needs a little cleaning up because it sat in the garage for two months. I drove it and it drives wonderful. The carb needs to be rebuilt but other then that it seems to be doing good. I'm going to flush all the fluids tomorrow after I get back from Chevy Nationals in Commerce, GA

I hope you can sleep ok at night, because you "stole" that car!
p.s., I would have too.
You should buy that kids mom a box of candy, for the gift they gave you.

Haha I was hoping to get 400hp out of my 82, but I'm pretty sure this one will lay down over 400hp. This is my first time owning a supercharged car. I got alot to learn.
