^^^^ someone get blue balled last night or something?
from what i have seen both of these guys know pretty well what they are doing with 3rd gens. im sure if he was worried about learning what components he needed he would have asked. therefore your first post is off topic. please try to stay on topic in these tech threads as it benefits not only the OP but any visitors with similar questions. Thank you

dont treat me like im an idiot black. I have a good idea of what im doin, i ask a lot of questions to make sure what i think is right or if i just plain dont know. Yes i know this is not a cheap thing to do or an extremely easy thing. But it will get done, and it will look nice. Get off my back about it.
You have been here long enough to know how black87 is. I am real surprised he did not use some thing like [sm=chairshot.gif]in his post.

But anyway, i did some thinkin today.. is the distributor just a basic computer controlled HEI distributor? or is it something special? cause i have on here already ( weather it works or not idk). which also reminds me. how do you check the injectors? i KNOW there is a way, but i cant remember wtf it is. HELP A BROTHA OUT MIKE!

MORE good news. According to this post https://camaroforums.com/m_62773/tm.htm this is a MAP style setup. Which means no expensive MAF sensor. Anyway, thats it for now. still havent installed. Can i use the current computer and put the correct prom in it or is it a must to buy a whole new computer?
