Yes 87. The year starting the center bolt and the different angle on the center intake bolts.

Oh and dont forget there are two different TPI systems. One uses theMAF and the other uses just a MAP. I think they got rid of the MAF in 90+. So you will have to get a computer and wiring accordinly.

ok i bought that system. Ill let ya know how it goes when it gets here.

It dosent speceify weather its MAF or MAP... which would be best? or do i have to use one or the other depending on the system? it has no wireing or computer so. Thats all up to what i want to do with it i guess?

I don't know the specifics. I think the later years did not use a MAF. I don't know what else would be different though. But since you must know that the one you purchase was an 87 then it would be a good geuss and maybe wise to get items for a MAF system.

ok i got it in today. im kinda curious about a few of the sensors and their location, MOSTLY the ones on the plenum. but all would be nice. do any of you have a labeled pic or know of a place to get one? im gona snag a TPI swappers book from a store for those lil tips and info i might not know, probably be in there as well, but the more the merrier!! lol

But this setup is in MUCH better shape than my last one. Im missing a few bolts ( intake manifold bots is all i can think of... those are just generic right?) the distributor hold down, and the distributor cover on the back of the plenum. other than that it will look good after a quick washing. im gona try that engine detailer stuff and degreaser. ill let ya know how they come out and ill take some pics.

Anybody selling a wireing harness and computer for a MAF setup on a 89?? ill probably just get a new one so i know it will be in good shape.. but if the price is right.
