Default tpi intake,plenum, and runner?

I was considering purchasing a used tpi setup, and buying a new wiring harness if need be. My friends older brother could do all the installation, but my question is can i take the used setup off a 350 because I have a 305. Will it all fit and be compatible?

TPI set up for a 350/305 are the same. You will need 19# injectors and a 305 TPI chip to make the 305 run right. But I really don't see any big Horsepower gains unless the cam is changed. You are also limited by the heads on the LO3 TBI. Just because you change the top end dose not make it a LB9. My opinion.

Do I have this correct: I can get a tpi system off a 350 to use for my 1992 305, but the system must be the MAP system from the 90-92 years?

You got me there. But this is a guess, if you have everything complete it should not make a difference. Only difference I know of are the Maf & Speed Density TPI Systems.

your best bet is to get the Holley Miniram.... it doesn't cost that much and make alot more power than the OEM TPI, and all your factory sensors will bolt right on.

My question still stands what is the Holley Miniram? Also, if i get a used tpi setup will all the sensor come with it, and are they all located on either the plenum or intake? And as far as the distributer goes, can i use my stock 305 tbi one, or will i need to buy a new one to work with the tpi?

ive never heard of a holley miniram. your cheapest bet would be to go to a carb setup, as the wiring and computer will be a ***** to install and properly work, especially if its used.

Well I'm definatley sticking with the TPI swap. I can get a good setup cheap and i have a very skilled friend who can install it. However, Can I keep my TBI distributer or do I need to buy a new one?
