i have an 86 camaro that i need to put a tranny in, i was going to get one from an 87 camaro but the guy at the place told me that the 87 came out with the auxiliary valve body, and that it would not work in my 86, but yet i did some searching anbd other places said it would work...i do not want to go and buy a tranny thart wont work cuz thats just dumb...so if anyone could let me know if i can use the trannmy with the auxiliary valve body, in my 86 thaT WOULD BE GREAT..THANKS!

 

The guy is full of poo-poo! They were just improved. As long as your getting one that will bolt to your motor its fine. 60 degree V6 and 90 degree V8 have different bellhouse.
