Should I buy a '92 Camaro

I just joined the forum and I'm looking for a bit of advice.

Tomorrow around noon I'm going to check out a 1992 Camaro RS. It's a 1 owner car with a 305 engine, automatic transmission, ~75,000 original miles, recent transmission and suspension service, and an upgraded AC (for r134). The seller has listed it at $5000 (he claims it's been appraised at $7,500). If it's anything like the pictures it may be the cleanest 3rd gen on the planet.

I've always been a fan of the Camaro, but I've never owned one. If I buy this one I intend to daily drive it. So what should I look out for on this car? What known issues should I keep in mind with this model? What's a good price for this car?

I'm very mechanically inclined, and I do all of my own maintenance/repairs on all my vehicles, but most of my experience has been working on motorcycles.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

75,000 miles and the cleanest 3rd gen on the planet? If you're really into that generation, it would be something to just drive occasionally so as to preserve it, not daily drive it. That's why you pay that much for it. If you want a daily driver, you can find one for half or a third that much. It won't be as clean or have low miles of course.

I ended up cancelling. It's not my favorite year of Camaro and after asking around for information about these I didn't get any responses, so I figured it wasn't worth it.

It likely would have been a real nice driver, I had a '76 Nova with the 305 /automatic and it's a reliable platform for a daily driver but no real powerhouse.
That said it was also a bit overpriced IMO, if it was a Z28 maybe but prices also vary a lot depending on location so I could be wrong.
For $5K you can find a pretty clean early 4th gen (1993-1997) with a little looking around at least in my area.
I paid $8K for my '01 SS LS1/6 speed with 86K on the clock and very clean, I really wanted another 1st gen (Had a '69) speaking of favorite years but they have gone out of my price range short of a lottery win.
