No, it had a 4.6, ( unless you had the "r" model... which was really rare it was the only one with the 5.4) the earlier ones had either the 5.0 or a 5.8 windsor in them, but past 95 they were all 4.6L pieces of crap.

Just as a point of reference:
Ford Mustang SVT Cobra - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

now if you really want a redneck car, put ford floor mats in it... start collecting mustang parts. Jeff Foxworthy's redneck days of Christmas spells it out "and some parts to a mustang GT... I don't even have a mustang"

I really want some louvers. Ford stuff is a big no no. This is a chevrolet household through and through. My mom does have a mopar SRT-6 twin turbo town and country though. Pretty BA if I do say so myself. And hey the 03-04 cobras were pretty quick but they were supercharged. Thats what all my buddies want. Cause they're kind of older and semi-affordable now. I'm gonna touch up all the chips in my paint with model car paint XD

I don't know if it was mentioned yet, but get lots of rear side window stickers. Edelbrok, Summit, Hooker headers, STP, Lucus, Flowmaster, just to name a few.

and to add to that, make sure none of those parts are on the car. especially competitor stickers like lunati, crane, and comp.

You all must not be rednecks...
The General Lee is the ultimate redneck car.

You need a push bar and a rebel flag. If you dont want to paint the flag
then just tie one to a stick and mount it on the back.
For get the dice.. rednecks don't hang dice from the mirror
they put a shot gun in the back window.

I used to own a General Lee, and yes dice are getto. Michigan law doesn't allow the shotgun in the back window, or else I'd have one there for sure.

my exhaust is staying but its pretty redneck. hooker headers to a home made pipe that connects to the back half of a flowmaster system that comes out in one pipe. Oh and no cats. or o2 sensors. That stuff is not even close to legal in the great state of North Carolina. XD also not making a general lee clone. if i wanted one of those i would have bought a charger. underbody lighting is for mexicans (no offense to anyone of hispanic lineage). And i actually had a dream 3 nights ago about putting new fenders on it that had vents.
