will these fit my 87 z28.

the 255 front is too wide, it will rub when you turn tight and may rub the fender if the offset has the wheel out.

Are you 100% sure these wont fit because he said he had them on his lowerd 78 camaro and he had no problems.

A '78 Camaro is not the same car as an '87 Camaro.

I know... im just trying to be 100% sure that they wont fit because i really really want these wheels so i can drive my car.

Very few if any aftermaket wheels will fit on any 3rd gen model (Camaro/Firebird) without the use of spacers. So buying wheels without knoning the offset is "Like Dumb"....

Next note: About 255/50/16 tires can be used on the stock IROC 16x8 wheels without a problem (Max size) ...
