yeah i know what the t-56 is, i had one in my old 97 t/a im very familiar with those, but they dont bolt up to 3rd gens do they?

they will bolt up to a v8 but the crossmember, driveshaft, and a couple other stuff u will need to change.

oh yea, that swaps been done a zillion times over. im tryin to get one for my lt1. hard to come across. and when i do im almost ALWAYS broke.. haha

you have a lt1 in ur 3rd gen? i really wanted to do that, how hard was it?

its not in yet. But from everybody i have talked to that have, its fairly simple. hardest part is the wireing. Which ive got all of it. Minimal splicing which is good for obvious reasons.

For now the motor sits in my basement torn apart awaiting more money.. like the rest of the car.
