Power Antenna
 

I have a 1988 Chevy Camaro Iroc-Z that has a power antenna that has stopped working, I cannot find a direct replacement, all I can find are aftermarket ones that do not work. The original antenna is 16 inches long, the aftermarket ones are about 11.5 inches long.
My question is can I replace the power antenna with a fixed one. Has any one done this or know where I can find a antenna that resembles the original unit.
