I USED SOME KIND OF LIQUID GLASS TO SEAL MY HEAD GASKET..AND AFTER I PUT IT IN..IT TLD ME TO RUN IT FOR 5 MINUTES..SO I DID..THEN IT SAID TO LET THE ENGINE COOL AND FILL IT UP WITH WATER AND RUN IT FOR 15 MINTUES..WELL WHEN I I WAS DOING THAT ..THE CAR STARTED SMOKING ANDS SHUT OFF..I THOUGHT IT WAS CUZ I WAS OUTTA GAS so i went n bought sum gas then it wouldnt crank..it seems like the alternator is locked up or sumthing..can anyone please help me out???

 

Can you turn the motor by hand. if the alt is seized up the motor will still crank. if it's just the alt try some WD-40 on it just to get it to turn.

If you think you alt is seized pull the belt off and try to crank it.

 

If it won't crank by hand then the motor seized up. Odds are with the bad head gasket,it was just a sign of other things gone wrong like a cracked block as well. what does the oil look like?

 

the oil is really milky..the liquid i bought it suppose to permantly repair blown head gaskets cracked heads n blocks , intake gaskets, and other severe collant leaks (as it says on the diections that came with it)

 

Can you turn the motor over? and did you run it with that milky water,I mean oil?

 

for turning the motor over, it wont. i turn the manual fan on then when i go to start the car..i noticed the blade on the alternator gets hung up or something..and what i was going to do was use the liquid glass stuff using the milky oil then change the oil tomorrow..did i screw up?? and if so how can i fix this problem??

 

By runnin the motor with the milky oil it may have seized the motor. if the alternator was seized the motor would still turn . Un hook the battery and reach down and try and turn the Crank Pulley by hand. if you can't turn it then it is most likely seized up,and time for a new motor. put the car in neutral first. then try and turn it by hand./with the parkin brake on just in case.
