plasti dip is great, best part is if you decide you hate it you just peel it off. what are you planning on painting?

I'm going to do a test on a small area first to see how it comes out but it will be a while I tore my shoulder again and need surgery again

I painted the roof of my old camaro with black plasti dip cause the paint was pealing. It came out pretty good.

@Camambro how hard was it use it and would you use it again? If and when my car gets done and we like the outcome we will also do the 02 dakota and the f350

It's pretty easy to use and it doesn't look bad but I wouldn't do it as a permanent solution though.

I did my head light area and my rims on my 4th gen. The Dip has held up on the rims better then paint would have.
Make sure you either clay the paint or use a wax remover before you apply it. The car must be clean. If you have to tape anything off then before you remove the tape run a razor along the edge of the tape. If you do not cut the edge the tape can lift the dip when you pull it off. Once you think you have enough coverage do one more coat. The thicker the dip the easier it is to remove. 3 hvy coats does a nice job for me. I have never had a problems removing off a surface and when I researched it I did not find anyone who had a problem removing it.
