Default Opinions on selling my 91 RS for a 08 Jetta

OK here it goes... If I can get my old job back, which I am pretty sure I can. Anywho.. if I get it back ... I am thinking about having my 700R4 rebuilt and then save up around 2k and then sell my 91' RS. And take the money I make off the car, and put it as a down payment on an 08' Jetta. The reason I say Jetta, is because they have been around for a while and they are economicly good on gas and at the same token potent little things. It will do 0 - 60 in 8.8 seconds although a top speed of 128 mph. And still hold down 23 mpg in the city and 30 mpg highway. And there's not many problems that come from VW. The problem is ... I don't know where to set the price at on my 91' RS. Its pretty much stock that I know of.

It's a white 1991 Camaro RS , with a 305 TBI, big 350 heads, about a month ago I did a major tune up on it, ( plugs, wires, cap, rotor, oil change, air filter, also had to replace TPS) . I'll have to do the math on the miles but when i bought the car the engine had 40,000 and the tranny had 89,000. After I have the transmission i probably wont drive it much afterwards except to school and work. But the paint is in good shape, with the exception of 3 spots where the paint has flaked off. Needs a new exhaust system ( from the catalytic converter back needs to be replaced ). And when I get the money I'll put a set of new tires on it aswell ( 60's in the back and 70's in the front ). Has a Aiwia CD player, stock speakers. COLD A/C, no rips in the seats, just stained a little. Dash has 1 big crack on the top on passenger side. Power windows and power hatch, hatch and hood struts are still good. Also when i bought the car ... the front struts were replaced. Oh, and it has a minor starting problem that I could never troubleshoot I tried everything and nothing ever solved it so I installed a push button starter switch in the slot below the headlight switch. Although, you have to have the key to start it because the switch MUST be switched on before it will crank. It has some sort of secuity chip in the key. The driver side door needs new bushings. Thats about all that I can think of .

So where should I set the price bar at ? I originally bought the car for $1,600 but I personally think its worth more than that. The reason I bought it was because it was such a good price for what I was getting. please post opinions I would greatly appreciate it !

If you decide to sell your car after you get the trans. rebuilt, I might be interested in it. Unless by then I've already found me a Camaro, haha.

Someone would have to give me one helluva deal on my Blazer, or my parents would have to chip in for me to be able to afford yours, haha.

But I have to say, you have a pretty nice one.
