ok, for the longest time ive been lookin into gettin a 5.0 stang. but a friend of mine just got a 88 iroc and i was impressed. so i started looking into them and found an 83 that i really like. i believe its a 305. my question is, i know alot about stangs, but dont no shyt about camaros, so what are some good performance mods you can do to these things? and what are some good sites to look for parts, etc... thanks.

 

Well, Theres plenty of sites you can look at...Just do a search for camaro performance parts...and look at that...I would first look at air intakes and exausts...simple things...suspensions, strut braces. idk

no, havent gotten anything yet. for about 6 months ive been tryin to find a foxbody. but after ridin in a 88 iroc, im torn between the two. i mean , there both what im lookin for (v8, rwd, domestic) so its really which ever i find first. i jut happend to come across a 83 z28 yesterday but its a good 2 and a half hours away. and w. working 2 jobs, free time isnt something i have alot of. but im gonna go look at it one night next week, prolly tues, or wed. by then i should have the 1800 they want for it. so yea, untill then, nothin. but ill let ya no if i get it, im sure ill have ALOT of questions. it just sucks because i know the ford 5.0s so well (so far as what parts are good, what mods to do, etc) and dont no **** about chevys. oh well, guess i better start learnin.

What does the 83 z28 look like? color engine etc.

 

no, i dont have anything right now (99 cougar, its gotta go), the 88 iroc im talkin about was a friends, sorry shoulda clarified. the 83 is white, 305, auto(id rather a stick, but a shift kit would be put on right away). its got 99000 miles on it... exterior seems to be real nice, interior could use work, but hey... its an 83 i dont expect it to be perfect, esp for 1800.
