no fuel pressure, can't find problem, short?
Hi everybody. I'm new to the forum. I have a 92 z28 and it's been running fine for the last 4 years. Yesterday I started it up and made it about 1000 yards then it died. It was like I shut the ignition off. I checked the fuel pressure and it was "0". I found the fuse out by the battery was blown. I replaced it and it blew again when I turned the ignition on. I was told it was the fuel pump. Well it wasn't, I replaced it and had the same thing happened. I found the fuel pump relay fried along with the plug. I replaced both and still it's blowing the fuse by the battery. I can't find a wiring diagram to go by. Can any body help me with this. THanks!

May want to check your oil pressure sender and the wire around it. One of the electrical paths to the fuel pump is through the oil pressure sender. When oil pressure goes over 5 PSI a switch in the sender closes and feeds power to the fuel pump. The other path is through the fuel pump relay, which is used until the oil pressure sended closes through.
