Default New Guy here with some slight problems

Hey all. I'm new to the Camaro game. I just bought my first car and worked on it today and it doesn't seem to be getting fuel to the rail. It has been sitting (last noted insp stickers) 05-06. It fires on ether, so it has spark. I'm just wondering could the pump in the tank be bad from it sitting so long? Also, is there anything else I should check out whilst it's sitting?

Thanks y'all!

Same thing my old 91 (which sat for only 2 years) was doing. Turned out that the fuel pump was fine, but from sitting, the pump to sending unit rubber coupler got deteriorated and split open. I could hear the pump run, but all it was basically doing was recycling the gas inside the tank. Your car has been sitting for almost 7 years, that's a long time. Remove the line before the fuel filter, and if gas dribbles out of the line when the pump cycles (as mine did), then you're going inside the tank to remove the pump.

No, I can't hear the pump kick on. Here's a little back story: My buddy called me saying he found a pair of Camaro's. He needed a car and I WANTED a car, so we went and looked at them. It was a heck of a deal we we bought them. We just replaced the fuel pump in my friends and it runs now. When we hook the battery up to mine and try and start it, the fuel pump doesn't even kick on, and all the fuses are good and whatnot. So I think I'm just going to replace it. What's a good fuel pump? Being that my motor is a slightly worked 350 LT1, i was thinking a Walbro 255? Any suggestions?

So it's an engine swap from a 4th gen Z28? Then your problem could be one from a list of many.

I honestly don't know if it is an LT1 or not. all I know is that it's a TPI 350 they guy said he had swapped in. Sorry I can't provide more knowledge to it at this time.

Would be good to know what your car was originally. If it had a TBI engine from the factory, for instance, your fuel pump isn't putting out enough pressure for TPI.
