HI GUYS I'M NEW TO THIS FORUM AND IVE LOVED RD GEN CAMAROS ALL MY LIFE JUST NEVER FOUND A GOOD CLEAN ONE TO BUY AND FINLAY MY NEIGHBOR WHO HAS A 91 CAMARO Z 5.7 IN MINT CONDITION AND HAD 80000 MILES ON IT ORIGINAL OWNER BUILD DATE PAPERS AND EVERYTHING MAINTAINED ALL WELL JUST LITTLE WEAR AND TEAR HERE AND THERE WANT TO SAL ME THE CAR HE WAS ASKING 9000 FOR IT I GOT HIM DOWN TO 5000 IS IT WORTH IT HOW RELIABLE IS IT WITH MILES I KNOW A LOT ABOUT MECHANICS AND CARS AND THIS GUY BABY ED IT FOR ALL THIS YEARS SHOULD I JUMP ON THIS DEAL NED ADVICE SORRY FOR THE RUN ON SENTENCES I'M EXCITED THANKS

 

in MINT its not worth 5k. If he wont go any lower than that... dont even bother

Depends, it is only as valuable as what someone will pay for it. Why would someone pay 5k for a mint 91 when you can get 93-98 for the same price. Better engine, better transmission, etc.

It is only as valuable as what you will pay for it. You can pay a high price but you will have to remember that you may not be able to resell it for that price if you wanted to resell it. Most people think there possessions are worth more than they actually are.

 

yeah unless it has like a crate motor and a rebuilt tranny it is not worth 5 gs

that depends on the previous owner, if he took care of the car it should be fine. so long as you take good care of it too. They are sweet cars IMO. 4500 seems like a good price. Maybe even only 4. Whats it worth to you?

 

THE OWNER IS ONE OWNER HIS A ENGINEER AND HE REPLACED ALL THE PARTS ANT TOOK CARE FOR ENGINE MINT SHAPE HAS ALL THE PAPER AND ALL .THE ONLY THING I FOUND IS THERE IS A NOCK COMMING FORM THE INSIDE OF THE CAR WHEN YOUR SITING IN IT AND YOU GAS THE SOUND GOES ALONG WITH THE GAS IT WHEN RPM GOES UP IT WILL SPEED UP BUT I LISTEN IT SAND SOUND LIKE THE INJECTORS ARE MAKING THAT NOISE SOUNDS KINDA LIKE BAD EXHAUST SOUND I DON'T KNOW HOW TO EXPLAIN IT BUT NOTING LIKE A BAD RING OR PINION OR LIFTERS ANY IDEA WHAT THAT IS I FEELS LIKE THE INJECTORS ARE MAKING THAT SOUND AS FAR AS ENGINE DO THEY GIVE ANY PROBLEM AND BREAK DOWN EARLY OR THERE PRETTY RELIABLE I'M MEAN THIS GUY REALLY TOOK CARE OF IT THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP NA D RESPOND THE SOUND COMMON FROM THE ENGINE IS LIKE A EXHAUST GASKET LEAK SOUND IF THAT HELPS BUT THE MECHANIC AT CHEVY SEED NOT FROM THE ENGINE
