i've never added it up, but the paint was probably $60 for the rattle cans (it's a temp paintjob until I finish the impala project) The seats were $100, the grill and fog lights were about $50, steering wheel was $25
of course I've bought a lot of little things along the way... shift ****, shift plate, wheel caps....
I probably have $1300-1400 total in the car now. I'm sure by the time I'm done that will be a figure that is WAY more than the car is worth, but I'm not doing this to turn a profit

time to update this thread...
back in the spring I painted stripes on the hood and hatch.
In april I got the AC working so I can use the car as a daily driver here in Texas, pretty brutal to try that without it
I also built a custom cupholder, it works great, and it's definitely one of a kind
the project got sidetracked for a while because my Dad elderly Dad spent quite a bit of time in the hospital, but I recently got the project started again
I just bought a dash pad in good condition, got a set of heritage stripes, and I'm about to upgrade to single stripe IROC wheels. hopefully by the spring of 2012 I'm going to repaint the car in BC/CC, and then put the heritage stripes on.
The car is still running great, one thing I love about this car is that even though it's a V6 (or maybe because it's a v6) it''s a great daily driver, and I get compliments everywhere I go, even with the 10 footer paint job it has on it

it would be easier to show you the build thread... enjoy!

the stripes are just temp...I didn't feel like rounding them off like the heritage stripes, so I just brought them to the edge of the hood.. I'll put on the heritage stripes when I do the repaint
