Oh man, thats EXACTLY how mine looked when I brought her home. Right down to the air cleaner. (Although mine was a bit dirtier) Now, for comparison....remember, mine looked exactly the same....

Here are some updated pictures, I put fresh rebuilt 40 over 305 with mild cam and all new parts except the heads.

You did all that work for a 305? More power to ya. I see you are running that generic chrome alternator mount. No matter how many I try, I cant get one that fits. I had to modify my current one to fit (cut and weld) the new vortec intake mounting spot. Its off just enough that Im throwing belts! arghhhhh.

I was basically given a 305 engine, so I went ahead a had it redone. I wasn't planning on doing all that but I next thing I knew, I had it all redone..lol

Holy cow! That thing cleaned up nice!!!! Just starting on mine right now too. I hope it turns out as nice as yours did...
