Default Msd Ignition

Here's a question for you guys. I got a 92 Chevy Camaro Rs, V8 305 TBI. I have small mods but nothing crazy yet. I got a Msd 6Al, Pn 6420, from work for winning a Compeition. But what do i all need to make it work for my car? Should i wait till pay day and buy the wires and coil? I just did a Tune up on it last week with New Plugs (Bosch Platnium +4), Wires (Bosch), Cap and Rotor (Brass Inserts). Will this do much for my car?

Default RE: Msd Ignition

get the blaster 2 coil for it and use regular copper core plugs (the bosh are garbage and the msd will eat them up like there is no tomorow)the cap is ok as long as it is the coper terminals. you also have to open up the plug gap with msd ignition msd wires are prefered because they don't leak the spark into the rest or the cars computer wiring eg. primary pick up circuit
