Mid 80's Camaro emissions
 

I heard that the mid 80's camaro's dont pass emissions so well. Im just wondering because all of the camaros i have looked at are either crap, or too expensive.
Im just wondring because I happened to see a red 1986 iroc hiding from me today. It was kinda dark so I couldnt see too much. The bottom of the front bumper does need some paint though. my dad will KILL me if I get this thing because when he was just about ready to get his license, his dream car was an 87 red iroc with t tops and the gold iroc z on the side. Well more or less its the same car, different year.
I was surprised by the price though. It has 40k miles on it and its about 2800 bucks. To me, at first, it has BUY ME written all over it. Ill call tomorrow and find out exactly if there is anything wrong with it. If that fails, Ill either continue my search for the one camaro that isnt crap. That or Ill buy the dodge avenger on the other side of the lot (Im looking for a first car. Starting with either a camaro or a firebird. Hopefully a camaro)

wow ur dad would be mad at me. i dont even have my liscense yet and i have a red 87 camaro with t tops. and yes, you guessed it, it sais IROC Z on the side. i really want to show a picture but my new computer doesnt havea floppy disk insert.

i almost always had to change the cat and muffler with every 3rd gen i had in order to pass emissions
