Lights won't turn off! Help!

yea, you prolly yanked on it too hard and broke the metal contact inside. not hard to replace, and not expensive either

Well I finally fixed it, sorta. It's just ghetto-rigged now, I have to kinda punch it in to make the lights go off but it functions well when I twist it and/or pull it to switch the lights on. Thanks everyone.
