I was just wondering if any knew if the oil from a K&N air filter would mess with/damagea mass airflow sensor

If an excess amount of oil has been put on it, yes it is possible. I have never had any problems with brand new filters.

They haven't hurt mine any as far as I can tell- although to be frank I haven't noticed much of any difference since I put them in.

If you follow the K&N instructions for recharging (oiling) you should have NO maf problems. Been using the same K&N filters for 13yrs now with yearly cleaning & oiling. Again follow the INSTRUCTIONS.

so long as you do as said in the instructions your fine, over oiling will be bad, but so will under oiling. do it just right and youll be fine. if your worried about it though, get a can of MAF cleaner and spray those lines down inside. i did that to my Grand AM and it helped quiet a bit. gas mileage improved a little, throttle response was slightly better and it ran a bit smoother.

I've never had a problem with the K&N oil affecting my MAF. As long as you don't bathe the MAF in it, it should be fine.
