Igniton Problems and Computer Problems

Igniton Problems and Computer Problems
Well I had a new engine put in my car about 3 months ago. It was supposed to just be a new 305, but the dealership messed up the order and ordered a 350 instead. They put the 350 in anyways because it was an upgrade and they didn't want to make me wait, which was fine with me.
However, they never did computer work or changed out the computer to one that works with the 350. The computer I had in the car was Serial #1228746. I believe this is the only computer put in the Camaro's that works with the 305 but not the 350. The one that is listed as the right computer is Serial #1227165. So now I'm getting a new computer compliments the dealership at no cost to me.
Now I was noticing some problems with the old computer. Such as the car didn't always want to start unless under certain weather conditions, sometimes the RPMS would drop too low and the engine would die, and other stuff like this. However it wasn't until recently when the car didn't want to start at all. So I had my ignition module checked and I had it replaced. With the old ignition module I was getting spark, but now I'm getting none whatsoever. If I change the computer is it possible this will all be solved and I will get spark back to my car? And why would I get some spark before I changed the ignition module, but now I get none?
I'm so confused so please help!

RE: Igniton Problems and Computer Problems
Probably a bad ignition module out of the box, or not installed correctly, or wiring problem. The new computer is not going to fix the ignition problems, all it does for your ignition is to adjust the spark timing.

RE: Igniton Problems and Computer Problems
Well the ignition module is fine, I had the new one tested. I installed it correctly, I'm positive of that, and a wiring problem could be the problem. I called the Chevy dealer today that installed the engine and complained until I got my way. They are sending a tow truck as I type and are going to fix it for me for free. So we shall see what it is. I'll let you know when I get it back.
