i need help

i got an 83 z28 as u might be able to tell but i need help i ******* up on my plug wires and ive tried every wiring diagram i can find but it hasnt worked and also wheres the #1 wire go on the distributor

heres what you do..remove the number 1 plug...manual crank the motor until number cylinder is at top dead center...then remove your distributor cap....the rotor will be at firing point for cylinder number 1.
