Well you could put a cam in it, intake, exhaust, a tune, etc... That would get you in good territory for some red light races

You might hang with a civic(or any older 4 or 6 bangers) if its only mod is a fart can and stickers, but i dont think you will be able to hang with todays v6's unless you do a good amount of upgrades, if you wanna stay v6 you can swap in a 4th gen v6, ive seen them put up decent numbers at the track

Uhm you could just grab a rear end off an Iroc and bolt if right up. You'll need adapters for the brake lines tho. They're pretty cheap. I would recommend (if you can) finding a rear end with 3:73 gears in it. That will make it feel like you got a few extra ponies.

I'm not sure about where to get the adapters. Kind of need someone like craby, liberty, musicman, or massey to chime in to answer something like that. You might be able to find them at oreilys? Not sure tho. As for the gears, you could A: see if there's some sort of code on the differential. Or B: take off the Differential cover, count the teeth on the gears and do some crazy math (long division) lol
Your best bet is to PM craby, liberty, massey, or musicman... I'm almost positive that someone on here has been in the same situation as you and knows exactly what you need to know lol. Someone will chime in and know exactly what to tell ya.
