Default Good buy? Winter Project

Hey, new to the forum, long time fan of american muscle, but anyways, i saw this 1983 chevy camaro v6 automatic going for auction next week, and ive always wanted a muscle car. Would this be a good buy? All it really needs is a door, and a little TLC. Your opinion?

I had an 86 2.8 that I took out in a blizzard we had a few years back, four feet of snow, was down to about 2 feet thick on the road by the time I got the car out, but the plows weren't even out yet, and I came back home with nary an incident. Just drive smart in the winter, that's all.

well i want to if i get it is to keep it from the roads here, right now i got a 90 grand prix as my daily driver, but i live in winnipeg manitoba, we have very harsh winters, and all the salt n sand on the road, on a freshly painted camaro + driving it everyday on the sand and salt would make rust appear in no time. I want to look at the car with my parents, cuz i think itll be a good project car, but my parents dont really care lol (my dad has a 67 chevy nova that he built so)

What are you willing to give for it? always keep your options open and don't jump into anything to quickly. when i bought my 83 Z as a project i gave $500 for it, 3 weeks later there was an 85' for $300 that was in better condition. i was pissed.

i basically want to keep most of it stock, i want it kinda like a muscle car, put cherrybomb exhaust, k&n air take, but i also want it pimped inside, cd deck, subwoofers.
