Gasket Help
Ok Im stuck on something pitifully STUPID, I cant get all of the gasket from the intake off the engine heads, Ive tried gasket remover, rags soaked in strong parts cleaner and carb cleaner even a razor blade gasket remover (and broke it!) Im down to my dremel with a wire wheel...
Any ideas of getting this off? It feels like stone! Iron heads BTW

razor blade was a bad idea, DO NOT use a wire wheel or dremel, you can take the actual metal off and you WILL have a permanent leak, which you will then have to purchase new heads.GM sells a pretty good gasket remover, you just spray it on, let it sit a few hours then come back and you can use a plastic scraper to take it off.

Too late on both accounts dude and I didnt scratch the metal at all I meant a wire wheel ON a dremel btw just so you know. Trust me the stuff I used was very strong for the fact it took my skin off after a few seconds!

I use the 3M roloc discs on a die grinder. Use the scotch brite style pads and not the hard grinding discs. There are 3 grades of pads ranging for rough to somewhat fine. I use the middle one(I think the brown one). It's much easier to control and can get pretty close to the metal without gouging. Oh and don't forget to cover the valley area so crap doesn't go into your engine.
