garage floor?
my dad is thinking about one of those paint on garage floors with the speckle crap you sprinkle on top. Any of you use this stuff or know somebody who does? i think it would be a great idea, looks nice, cleans a lot better than concrete, and even if it does get chipped or something somehow, repaint it..
seems like a good idea to me, just wondering what yall thought. and where ya got it.

just becarefull it gets pretty slick.no i haven't used it but we have had people come in after we pour a floor and do that and thats the main problem is the fact that it gets slick.especially for a garage.

RE: garage floor?
It looks nice, but anymore it is not that great however this spring I am planning on putting it down in the workshop. Its not paint, its epoxy, so it is very hard and should be durable, however the problem is they stopped putting zinc in it. After awhile it will start to crack, the same thing happend with oil based paints. The tree huggers that complain about lead decided they didnt want zinc put in paints or anything anymore so they had to remove them, thats why most places dont even carry oil based paints anymore.

Eh, I don't have any personal experience with it, I am just stating what I know, I am still planning to put it down in my workshop however. I know it is better than anything else out there, which is what is making me want it for my shop.
