Default Fuse??

Ok I am getting really frustrated with my new neon that i installed the other day to show off my club sticker in my rear window. When i was installing it i accidentally plugged in the wire to the BAT fuse plug on my fuse box and when i was fishing the wire through i didnt get to far when SPARK i get a spark right infront of my face from the fuse box. I pulled all the fuses and they are all good. I dont know what could be the issue can anyone please help me!?

The spark was in front of your face and you did not keep your eyes open to look.
Does everything still work? Are there any breakers on your fuse panel? Maybe one kinda overloaded and sent an arc.

Well my hatch switch to open the hatch doesnt work, and my stereo doesnt turn on. And no I dont see any breakers on the panel. I replaced the RADIO fuse on the panel but that didnt change anything.

UH OH
Maybe the spark was from behind the fuse panel and a wire burned or broke. Is it hinged on your were you can pull it far enough forward to squeeze your head in and look?

HMMMMMMM
Got a wire diagram? Maybe you can find where and what is in common with all those items that do not work any more. I think cig lighters are usauly orange wires for hot but I think they are independent of the radio. Not sure though. Some wire must have been getting hot and melted to something else and when the insulation melted enough BOOM!

Grounds dont send a spark. A hot will when it meets a ground or another hot. its the fact that you hooked the light into the batt terminal on the fuse panel. On the fuse box that all hooks together to the orange wires for the radio, hatch release relay and cig lighter. May be seperate fuses but it all gets jumpered in the back of the fuse panel.
