Default f body street stock

i have an 87 camaro, makin a stockcar out of it. street stock, must leave mostly stock. need some advice on a few things. like not sure if i should run rear sway bar. not really sure if i can put a 2 speed powerglide tranny in it. it has a v6 with a five speed in it now, but that's comin out and a 350 with a automatic are goin in. always ran monte carlos or the leaf spring camaro, first f body street stock.

Yeah, you can do that. Why the 2-speed Powerglide. A 3 or 4 speed would performance better and is not expensive.

do i need a different crossmember than the one for the five speed, or is it just fabricating the original one to make the automatic work, cause the standard looks a lot longer than the powerglide. i do also have a turbo 350, but it takes less horsepower to run the glide, and the glide is quite a bit lighter.is there something i dont know about the 3 speed that i should be using that? some of the guys at the track are using them.do u know anything about the rear suspension set up? sway bar? panhard bar?
