Default exhaust!!

1991 camaro z28 carbed 350

The guy I bought it from put this exhaust on and the car is pretty quiet. I am gonna get the exhaust done soon. I really want to make the car sound good with a strong muscle sound to it. I was told by an exhaust shop that they can't do dual exhaust because it is a f body car. Any ideas? I would like to have more than one opinion if possible. Thanks for the help!!!

I could be dual, but more work than they are probably willing to do. Not mention you wouldn't make it through a speed bump. Imo but thrush weld and flowmaster 44 sound great to me!

This will be opinion based thread so I suggest any exhaust system that a fellow member post about, I would look up some sound clips on YouTube and see what better fits your ear.

Flowmasters usually run around $70-$100. Thrush are half that price with the same sound to me. I always hear magnaflow is pretty good also, but I never ran one on my camaros.

Check out this setup. Almost identical to mine. Sounds wicked!

I was looking at the flowmaster website for the 44, do they have to make one for a 91 cause it seems that it has one side in and one or two sides of the out.

That's dual muffler. 1 inlet and 2 outlit. You want to find out what size your existing pipe is which should be 21/2 inch. (Double check me on that) and go from there.

the stock muffler I have has a outlet on the driver side and the passenger side a inlet and outlet. And I seen youtube videos where people where running duels. so just wanted to know how that was done, if the muffler was modified or custom piping.

Nope no modding. It fits the Same inlet pipe you currently have, but instead of one outlet pipe Comming out of the muffler towards the bumper there another one on the opposite side. The dual muffler is pretty much two tail pipes Comming out of the muffler. Its still designed to fit right on your mid pipe. Your just swapping mufflers.
