I'm young as well. I started the project 3 years ago when I was 14.

It had an Electromotive Distributor-less Ignition System. It functioned fine, I just wasn't a fan of the clutter, so I went with a plain old HEI distributor. I still have it though, and it's for sale...

Man, that will be a pretty sweet ride when you get rid of that Marine Corps plate. Unless you are actually graduated from basic, Im gonna smoke yer ***!!!!!! (By homecoming I assume yer still in school......)

PS- Does the hood actually work? Id love to see the plumbing. Mine was torn out years ago and I actually put a set of non functioning scoops on it to cover up the gaping holes. (Drilled em out to make them semi functioning......)

PPS-That engine bay looks fawking sweet. Im jealous!

The car is in my dad's name, and he's a retired Marine. He wanted the Marine Corps plate, so it stays, lol.

The ram air was semi functional when I bought it. Obviously they had already gotten rid of the CFI, but the assembly and the electric motor was still there and it functioned if I hooked power up to it. However due to hood clearance issues with the new engine, I had to remove it and epoxy the flaps back into the hood.

And lots and lots of time goes into that engine bay to keep it that clean. Honestly I don't know how guys who DD their show rigs do it. Some of those things are spotless, and driving them is really hard on it.
