engine too loud?

Default engine too loud?

yeah soo i just bought a 92 camaro RS but its got a 350 drivetrain in it and it has headers and a flopro muffler and its WAAAAYYYYY too loud. what can i do to make it jus a little quieter. ya know to where at least i can drive and hear someone in the car speaking.

Sounds like you have an exhaust leak then. There is no reason for something to be that loud. My friends BB mustang is just a touch louder than my stroker, so somethings up.

I'd take it to a reputable muffler shop and have them look for leaks. If no leaks, then simply have them put new mufflers on it. Should be fine then.

Didn't know there was such a thing as "too loud"
Does your exhaust dump underneath the car, before the rear axle? If so, you're getting a lot of resonance, and adding pipes from there to run it out the back will make a noticeable sound difference inside the car.
