Electrical issues on 86 Camaro Sport.
I've got a couple of ****ling electrical problems I need to fix. 1st, I'm not sure whether my cooling fan comes on. I've got a voltmeter, so hints on how to check the motor and temp sensor would be helpful to assure me that it is working correctly.
2nd. I lost all dash lights, and the 5 amp fuse keeps blowing out. Replaced the headlight switch, and now, when I turn on my headlights, smoke comes out of the panel. I think that the switch was DOA from Autozone. It is a PITA to change out, and I hate to do it again. Even after swapping out the switch, the dash lights stay out. Any way to trouble shoot this without totally tearing the dash apart?
I have another issue with the radiator/fan assy, In the 86, is the radiator assy supposed to be fully straight up and down? This one is angled about 20 degrees. Can't see any obvious body damage to cause this, but it looks weird. I'll try to post a pic to my pic host later today, and post a link to it to show you what the layout looks like. BTW: Not a curse word, but it is similar to the N word, so I guess that is why it's getting censored. :P
Thanks!
