Is that spray can stuff? I have seen duplicolor but not the "paint shop" stuff. If it is then you may just be better off preping yourself and taking it to a production shop (miracle, maaco, Earl, one day...) and having them just spray it if you are on a budget.

no its a premixed laquer. Goes into an actual spray gun. Not a rattle can.

Are there any paint stores in your area? Why not get regular automotive paint then if you have a gun? There are some inexpensive automotive paints. I know reds can be expensive. And if it is Laquer then I would recomend againts it. They are not that good in the constant sun unless you clear it and then still it is not all that much better. The better laquer (nitrocelulous ??) I dont think is made any more. The last I saw was acrylic. ( not more laquer where I am at in Cali.)

They sell lacquer, but it isn't ideal for a DD. Lacquer finishes are what you generally see on show cars. If it is done right, nothing can get even close to the finish of the lacquer paint. You look at it and its like looking in a mirror. To do it right, it is very expensive, and you have to do 8-12 coats while sanding in between all of them. Not fun, lol. You should have an automotive paint place somewhere around you, just look them up and go in and talk to the guys. I am sure someone will hook you up with everything you need...
