Default Door seals

After a long road trip one saturday I finnaly got fed up with the thumping of my drivers door. I had fixed the upper hinge with the shoulder bolt/bushing repair kit but the door still bounced around in an open and close direction. The seals were badly worn.
I finaly got up off my butt and marched to the computer and ordered some door seals from 1AAuto.com. $59.95+9.00 shipping. (ups).
I wont bore any one more with instalation details but just wanted to let people know of the quality I got.
The produt is made by Metro. I have used Soft seal brand in the past and was not very happy with that. Metrp is about the same quality. Niether have the plastic suports molded into thier seals on the ends. So there is that possibilty of tearing there. Use good weather strip adheasive. Niether have the pins line up correctly. Both brand need a little tugging to get the pins to line up with the holes. Pray for no shrinkage. Both brand need a little tugging to get the screws to line up in the ends. Plus side, Metros' pins fit in the holes. Minus side, Soft seals were always too small and either had to use old pins or replace with all new ones and that left a posiibilty of tearing a new seal while removing and installing the pins. I don't know what soft seal offers but Metro has a 15 year warranty.
In the end I am happy. I dont have to hear the door rattle any more and it closes easy with out slamming and seals.
