door problem
You dont have to remove the door. It is easier tnat way. But you need to get a special kit for the upper hinge since it has permanant rivets. The lower hinge I think is the same as S10 pins and bushings.
I think this is the guy who made them. I dont remember for sure because I got them for my door a couple of years ago.

That is just the pins for the lower hinges for both sides. You can get those at autozone or crapa. The hinge kit I showed is to repair the upper hinges permanentrivets and it includes the lower pins and bushings for 1 side. When I got mine there was no greasable ones and it was like $75-$80

madmike my dad drew out this sketch and then i put it onto paint. the part that is worn is not part of either of the upper or lower hinges. it's worn on the part that is welded to the door. is there anyway to fix this other than cutting off the hinge and rewelding one on?

Thats worn because the bushings wore out and its been riding on the pins and wearing into each other. I have had to weld on the worn sides of hinges before then round the hole out for the pins and bushings. So its either weld the worn part and get the pin repair kit or drill the hinge and the repair hinges usualy have the holes for the bolts in the same sopts as where the welds were. I have never done the whole replacment hinge on a Camaro but I do know when you buy a new door shell for the 90's full size trucks you had to buy a bolt on hinge because they are welded also and the new doors do not come with hinges. The upper bolt on hinge on every one I did needed about a 1/16 shaved off it or the door did not sit right.
Yeah you just bent the inside of the door area to compensate. I used to have a tool that had a pin that went in the latch and on the other and of a short arm had a notch that when on the door pin then a long lever to pull or push doors to make them close easy.
