Do i just go to oreillys and tell them i need a distributer for a 91 camaro? I need the exact specifics please. Also what is an opil pressure switch or is part of that a typo?

You need to tell them you want a non computer controled distributer. and an opil switch is the same as an oil pressure switch but it has a little "p" in it.
You have an iol pressure switch that already does this but I think it also works through the computer so maybe a little rewiring to use it without.

also will the carb come with a oil pressure switch already built in? How does the switch go into the carb formula?

It would have to be a pre 79 to be non computer. At least on California cars but your is definatly computer controled.

?? Im confused on ur last statement. U do understand right that I want to make my 91 maro with 305 tbi fully mechanical with no computer and trade out the tbi with a carb.

I just did some checking and the oil pressure switch on your car will work without the computer. If you wanted to go this route you will have to hook a togle so it will run power when it is on but cuts off power from the oil pressure switch. It can be done but may be easier for you to just use a togle.

Sorry I leave some things out. You need a distributer for a pre 79 to make it non computer.
