Okay, I currently own a 91 RS 305 all stock, a friend of mine owned an 85 Iroc Z 305 TPI, and it got hotwired, but we found it like 20 minutes later. He now offered to sell it to me for $500 and it doesnt run, but it will if it gets the right electrical part for the steering wheel because they cracked the left side of where the steering wheel meets the panel (I dont know what its called) and connected two wires to get it started. It has been parked for like 3 months and it ran when he parked it. Should I try to fix the steering issue ortow it or what? Do any of you by chance know what the electrical part needed is? I havent given much details on the part needed but the owner doesnt know alot about the part either. I dont know any other details at the time but I might in a couple days.

DOES THE KEY FOR THE IROC HAVE A CHIP? IF NOT JUST GET THE STEERING COLUMN REBUILT AND THE CAR SHOULD START RIGHT UP. AS FAR AS CONNECTING TWO WIRES TOGETHER TO HAVE STARTED IT RIGHT UP I DONT KNOW. WHY DONT YOU TRY DISCONNECTING THOSE WIRE AND TAPIING THEM TOGETHER AND SEE WHAT THEY DO. ANS ALSO CHECK THE FUSES.
