Okay which dash pads will fit which year models or will they all interchange?

Can you look at a dash &tell which year model it came from?
Is there a part number stamped or inked on them someplace?

If I'm not mistaken, although they may look slightly different on the outside, any model year will fit any other, including those from firebirds/trans ams.

 

The 82-89 are different from the 90-92. They all may bolt up in the right spots but the place to look at that may not fit right is where the notch is for the center vents.

 

Cool, I have an 89 & may be buying an 82 with no dash pad. The 89 pad is in great shape so it will be going in.
