Custom third gen in planning what engine should I drop?

Well when I come into some money i plan on putting together a custom third gen with a nice old big block in it. Not sure what size though. Wondering if anyones ever done or seen this type of a project done.

I like BB's too just cant afford them. SB's are about the best bng for the buck you'll ever find.

I would too just because it will keep the weight ratio roughly the same. If you want to take it around any corners you will want it around the same. If this will be a straight line car, go for the 427.

You could go with the new GM 572 crate motor, if your planning a drag car. 720 hp straight out of the crate.

I prefer a small block. If you are looking for big horsepower numbers, then go for a big block.

I watched a prostreet third gen Camaro run consecutive 7.1's, 7.2's all day, blast through the quarter in 6.93 for the final round win. It had a 355 inch 1200 HP, NOs'ed small block and a built 2spd powerglide no blower or turbos just motor and NOs.
