I think dad was talking about the small rig motors.Knock backthe firewall a bit or just make it a mid-engine.As for the locomotive...HELL YA just weld a seat a few feet away onto the motor and slap tires on it...and of course paint camaro somewhere on it...or weld tubing to the motor and have the panels suspended in the air...

I am currently working on a repower that most call stupid. I am finding it quite a challenge that I am enjoying. I am putting a Cummins 4BT in a 1982 Camaro.

the engine sticks out about 6 inches with the hood down. I am sliding the engine back another 2 inches so the height will be a little less. I really didn't think that it was to bad. It is under the hood in the back. It only sticks up in the front of the engine bay. I am gonna change the routing of the boost tube so that it will either come through a intercooler or around the front of the engine bay. I will hand fab the hood scoop out of fiberglass and I think the finished product will be supriseing.[/align]
