Default conversion

I have a 1989 camaro rs that we did a v6 to v8 conversion runs good drives good but one little problem. We have a 350 turbo tranny in the car and when i am driving down the road at 65 by the speed o im actually only going 50-55. can some one help me fix this problem.

You have a speedo gear mis-match. You need to look at and count the number of teeth on the speedo gears from the old transmission, and put the corresponding ratio into the T350. You don't need to use the exact same number of drive and driven teeth, availability could be different between the two transmissions. Just as long as the ratio comes out to be the same, or pretty darn close.
