Changing Carb And Intake, Now what?

Right now I have a 85 z28 Camaro with a SB 350 4 bolt main. It has a quadrajet carb on it right now with a mechanical HEI Dist with everything stock on the motor. I was wondering what else I need to do to get a Edlebrock Torker 2 intake with a Edlebrock Carb to mount and run right with the stock 700R4 trans wich will be running on the drag strip occasionaly.

thanks

i wouldn't run a torker on the strip i would go with a performer rpm, much better intake, if you are going to modify it put a cam in too. edelbrock is good bolt on stuff but you can spend a little more money for a holley and get twice the result.

Yep, go with a holley street avenger 670 for that engine.

I would but im still in college and these parts are coming in on a parts camaro for free, and i have little money to spend. So anything i can take off of the free parts camaro i am trying to use because the guy who had the parts never ran the car after he put them on.
