So I was getting gas, it wasn't dead on E, it was lil past half way. So I filled it up a and went to go back home. then in about 1 minute the car just turned off. I tried restarted and it sounded like if it was out of gas and would not turn over. Would this be the fuel pump going out or fuel injectors?

 

Could be the reasons you mentioned, plus a whole bunch of others. Can't really tell without testing, and things can get expensive quickly by just throwing parts at the problem.

 

pull the fuel filter, dump it into a clear container. dump it from the tank side of the filter. this should give you an idea if you have water or a plugged filter. test fuel pressure.
