If you go carburated, you can do away with all that stuff, but you may have big problems passing inspection. Also going carburated is not going to make the car any faster.

Well I was planning on putting like a adjustable 4 barrel double pumper on there with interchangeable jets. But in doing away with all that stuff how would it affect the vats ****? Remember its tbi (throttle body injection).

The VATS stuff won't work without the computer, but it can be wired around to provide power to the fuel pump, also you may have to replace the distributor with one that is not controlled by the computer.

So id have to hard wire the pump and find a non-computer controlled distributor and I should be set to go right? Is there anything else you can think off that would need to be "modified" to run the car without the computer?

go to summit/jegs and get a mechanical fuel pump. then you can do away with all the wiring of the pump. AND get a HEI distributor for a decent price somewhere, check out summit and jegs to.
