Body Style's between 85-89 Question
 

I was curious if there was any body style difference's that one would notice between the years of 85-89. And if so what are they?

I have a 1985 Z28 with body kit etc. Which I figure beyong RS is normal?

have no idea what you are talking about. you have a body kit, like the aftermarket ricer crap? or do you mean the rocker covers and valances for the bumpers?

No just the stock kit is what I mean to say. Nothing aftermarket, just curious if the body styles between 85-89 are all the same looking stock.

yea, theyre the same from all of those years. are you looking to sell them at all?

I've been looking for a drivers side door for a while now, just found one from a 1990 after a long day of searching... my door has seen its fair share of breakins its sad to say... I was just curious if a 1990 door will fit on a 1985 z28 (have the stock z28 molding still on my door)... I just did a quick google search, but wanted to look around here for a second opinion if sorts, to be on the safe side... haha

Possibly if I cannot get this situation figured out. The one that would be for sale is a 1985 Z28 TPI.

im looking for a good lower front valance, mine is all cheese grated. what sort of situation are you trying to figure out?

only exterior noticeable diff- 85 no 3rd brake light. 86 brake light on top of glass. the rest had brakelight in rear spoiler. 90-92 under hatch glass.

Also, I'm not sure about other years, By my 88 SC and old 85 Iroc-Z the 85 had a narrower taller spoiler and the 88 has a thicker shorter spoiler. And on 88 only there was a spoiler like the 91/92s but way shorter. Didnt come on many 88s
